Welcome to the Good News Course
Good news, astounding news. In the Bible, God the creator has revealed himself to us, human beings made in his own image. He has revealed that we, who have fallen so far short of his holy standard in our sin, can have a living relationship with him. This is only because he has sent his own Son, Jesus Christ, to be born as a man and suffer the punishment for sin as he died upon the cross. This same Jesus rose from the dead in triumph and one day will return in glory to judge the world. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we can know salvation from our fallen state and be added to the church of Christ that will endure for all eternity. This is the message of the gospel, the only true good news.
